Quincy is a 3 year old palomino roan GVHS registered gypsy stud colt. He is a very social boy that will walk/run up to you out of pasture, he stands well for grooming, farrier and vet. I got him as a weanling but he is on the smaller size of what I want, was last sticked at around 14 hands, so that is why he is listed but expected to finish 14.1 or 14.2. He lives in a mixed heard of mares and geldings and gets along great with everyone, he does know he is a stud though and will mount the mares when they are in heat but he has a great temperament and can be worked with around mares without loosing his mind and can still focus on what we are doing.... (read more) Would make a good driving horse or riding horse for someone that can ride 14.1-14.2 hands, otherwise he is willing to be a good stallion for someone. Quincy is is negative for pssm and fis, he has one roan gene, one cream and carries agouti so can make buckskins with the right mares. He is not hard to work with at all, very curious and accepting. Quincy has worn a bareback pad with the cinch and stirrups and worn a bridle for the first time and went very well, i have a video of his first time wearing those. He had no reaction at all to seeing or wearing and calmly walked after me once they were on. Will be slowly worked with as he stays and price will go up with more training. Open to payment terms with some 2-4 months free (until i need to start feeding hay, i wont require any extra to base payment terms) or i am negotiable on price if he has a gelding contract.
