Versatile, Honest, and Game for Anything.



Chief has been used extensively as a ranch horse, helping to doctor cows, brand calves, and navigate tough terrain. He’s also ponied colts and green horses, carried gear, and stood like a saint for anything you throw his way—from mounting and tacking to grooming or tying. Whatever the task, Chief shows up with willingness and maturity.



He’s well-trained in the arena, with a solid handle and excellent body control. His big, ground-covering canter and soft, rhythmic gaits make him a pleasure to ride. Unlike many QHs with shorter, choppier movement, Chief is a powerful, elegant mover with balanced, correct feet and a presence that makes people stop and watch.



He’s also been exposed to just about everything:
