Leo’s Fast Frenchman “Frito” is a standout young gelding with the looks, mind, and versatility to go in any direction you choose.... (read more) This 4-year-old AQHA gelding stands 15 hands tall and turns heads everywhere he goes with his rare and eye-catching dark sooty palomino color, paired with a long, thick mane and tail. With bloodlines tracing back to the legendary Frenchman’s Guy, Frito has both the pedigree and the potential to excel.
Frito has been started the right way and has a solid, well-rounded foundation. He has been used around the farm for pushing cattle, checking pastures, and handling day-to-day tasks, and has even had a rope thrown off him. He rides off leg pressure, moves his shoulders willingly, and has a nice collected jog and an easy, comfortable lope. He is coming along nicely on a neck rein and is a forgiving, user-friendly ride.
On the trails, Frito has been ridden both alone and in groups, and handles new environments with a willing attitude. He is suitable for a less experienced rider with some guidance, yet still has enough talent and “buttons” to keep a more experienced rider engaged. He has also been ridden English and has been started over cross rails, where he showed a natural willingness and ability.
Frito’s versatility makes him an excellent prospect for a wide range of disciplines. He would make a fantastic all-around 4H horse, with the potential to go on in barrels, poles, ranch work, English events, or simply be a dependable trail partner.
Beyond his abilities, Frito is the kind everyone wants in their barn—an in-your-pocket gelding with a big, lovable personality. He enjoys attention, is easy to catch, and is a pleasure to be around.

Frito has a current coggins, and basic health exam, 4 new shoes and is ready to ride!
He will carry 2 small scars one on his neck and one on his leg from an old fence injury. It doesn’t bother him at all. (They will be shown in his video)
