This is “Keystone “. A 12 year old grade bay quarter horse gelding standing 14.3 hands. The true definition of “beer drinking” , pack your saddle bags and go type gelding that is also broke enough to haul to the fun shows as well. He will cross fallen logs, go through the deepest of puddles, and is not phased by anything. Traffic, dogs, tarps, kids, machinery, Keystone won’t bat an eye and plod right past it all. Absolutely bottom of the pecking order in a mixed herd, and you will catch him where you find him every time. Coolest part about Ol Keystone? In the arena he’s got a great handle to him and is not just a “dead head” trail horse. Walk, trot, and lope circles like it’s his job, stops off your seat, has a nice neck rein to him and will side pass to open gates.
