Penny is a 16 year old Unraced Thoroughbred mare. Penny excels in the hunt field and has hunted multiple seasons in all three flights. She is very adjustable for her rider, happy to plod along in third or will keep up with the pack and jump in first. Additionally Penny has experience competing at the beginner novice level with top placings at different venues and has schooled past novice. She is currently competing and will stay in the program until we find her person.... (read more) She is more of a forward ride but is very adjustable with nice solid flat work. She would excel as a show jumper in the Thoroughbred classes. She is lovely to have in the barn, not mareish, easy keeper, trailers well. Would be an excellent mount for a junior or an amateur that wants to event or show some days and hunt others. She is one of my favorite rides. Located in Hume, VA.
