Layla is a kind, gentle, and steady-minded mare looking for her next family. Standing 15.2 hands and approximately 1,200 lbs, she's a striking solid black with a single white star on her forehead. She has the easygoing temperament that makes her ideal as a trail partner or casual family horse — calm, level-headed, and unflappable in new situations. Under saddle she walks and trots beautifully, rides equally well in groups or alone, trailers like a champ, and absolutely loves crossing water. She's good with kids, beginners, other horses, and dogs. On the ground she ties, loads, and stands politely for the farrier.

She is currently a bit out of shape and would benefit from a consistent riding program to build her fitness back up — a great opportunity for someone who enjoys legging a horse up at their own pace.
