Serenity is passionate about helping riders become confident, effective, and harmonious in the saddle. Her focus is on basic horsemanship and lower-level dressage, where she finds so much joy in watching riders grow and build strong partnerships with their horses.
Her own experience with anxiety has shaped the way she listens to horses. It’s taught her to pay attention in a different way—and to recognize that not every horse is the right fit for every rider. She has a deep appreciation for the so-called “solid citizens” of the horse world—the kind, steady partners who may not turn heads in the warm-up ring, but who show up, try hard, and often surprise you in the show ring. In her eyes, a good brain and a willing heart go a long way in dressage.
Serenity currently serves as President of the Central Alabama Dressage and Eventing Association, where she’s working to make the sport more accessible and encourage a new generation of riders.
