Cow on top, halter, running on Bottom. My client is 80 years old and had bought her to trail ride, but he’s hanging his spurs up now due to some health issues. He bought her from a trainer in IL who was trying to make a cutter out of her. She has a motor but is manageable. In the last year, she has been ridden by the 80 yr old and kept in shape by his 13 yr old grand daughter.... (read more) She was regularly used to gather cattle as her father is a non pro cutter and usually works his own horses. Ginger has a pretty nice handle and very smooth in a gaits. She is sweet, friendly, easy to catch, gentle, stands tied, hauls easily, bathes, gets along well with other horses (submissive). Ginger stands about 14.3 hands tall.

She rides in just about anything. Owner was riding in a short shank correction.

Only quirks that I’ve found so far is she’s weird about ropes dragging on the ground, and a little goosey about a stick or rope touching her butt. Been working through that with desensitizing.
