Merrylegs is a 4 yr old, purebred gypsy vanner filly, registered with GVHS. She has perfect tobiano markings and is incredibly hairy, the pictures show her hair just turned out on pasture with no maintenance. However, she is rather petite and only stands at 13-13.1h. She has the typical in-your-pocket gypsy temperament, although she can be more sensitive than some. I have done some groundwork, she has worn a saddle and bridle, started learning the basic verbal commands, and we have ridden around a few circles inside our small barn arena just at a walk.... (read more) I was originally planning on keeping this filly, but I don't have the time she deserves and she would be much happier where she was someone's primary companion. Merrylegs really wants a human that will give her all their attention, brushes, grooming, treats etc. That being said, I am looking for the perfect home and not necessarily in a rush to sell her. She would make an excellent riding horse for a youth or smaller lady or she would also make a very flashy driving horse. If she hasn't sold by summer, she will start with a trainer to get a solid start. She also has a great pedigree to boot, with SD lines on top and bottom. Our family raises a variety of horses from gypsies and drafts to friesians and appaloosas. We have farms spread from Arkansas to Wisconsin and different family members specialize in different breeds. We also do some consignments, typically in the surrounding areas, therefore some horses are listed in different states. However, we have numerous references from happy customers!
