Meet Nova, a beautiful black Percheron X mare. She stands 16hh and is 17 years young. If you’re looking for a safe, dependable, & gentle horse, Nova checks every box! She came off a local Amish farm. They used her for a little bit of everything including raising babies, riding, some work in the fields, & most recently working in the produce patch. Nova is broke to ride & drive & has the kind of quiet, steady temperament that makes her suitable for absolutely anyone! She is especially amazing with beginner riders or those lacking confidence. I would not hesitate to let my great grandmother take her on a trail ride by herself. She is incredibly forgiving, patient, & easy to handle, both on the ground or under saddle. She truly shines out on the trails. Nova is a seasoned mare who will go wherever you point her, staying calm and reliable in all kinds of situations. She is happy to ride out with a group or alone. She will walk you right through town, greets folks along the way, & isn't bothered by traffic whizzing by her. Under saddle she will w/t/c, but is a little more whoa than go. Nova is broke to drive single or double & has been hooked to machinery. Traffic/road/city safe. Whether you’re looking for a trustworthy trail companion or a reliable horse to pull a cart or wagon, she does it all with ease. She stands quietly for grooming, tacking, bathing, bridling, & hitching. Nova lifts all 4 feet easily & gets along with other animals. She is the same rock solid horse day in & day out. Never has a bad attitude & loves to get affection.

Nova would be an excellent addition to a family, therapy program, or anyone wanting a steady, no-drama horse you can count on to keep you happy & safe every day.
