With a heavy heart and due to no fault of her own I am offering my pony mare Kannoli for a free/care lease off property. I had to place a price on the add, she is not $500.00, this is a free lease.
Kannoli is a 13 year old, 10hh Shetland Pony mare with Cushings. She is being offered to a companion/non riding home only.
Ideally for someone who likes to do liberty and tricks, she is very smart and treat motivated. She will W/T/C on lunge but is not trained for a rider.... (read more) She is not your kids pony/lead-line, or broke pony by any means but, she is very easy to handle, is behaved for the farrier, and stands for clipping. She would be great for someone who is looking for a relaxed companion for there horse as well. She gets along great with two other mares on property, and geldings on the other side of the fence.
Kannoli does have PPID/Cushings and is being managed on 1/2 tablet of Prascend once daily and Thyro-L. She is an easy keeper with a handful of balancer for her medications and gets hay in a net. She is currently on a dry lot with minimal grass, and does happily wear a grazing muzzle (which can be provided) when turned out on grass.
Kannoli is great with wood or wire fencing, she does not crib.
I have a bunch of tack, blankets, fly gear, and training tools for her that I would be happy to include in the lease.
