This mare stands 15.3hh. She is sweet as the day is long. Her gait is so smooth. Never a day lame or had any health issues. Soon will be giving her yearly vaccine along with teeth float that we do every other year between May-June. She backs and side passes good, great for farrier and picking up her feet. She has great hooves always barefoot unless we go on trail rides is when Scoot boots go on her fronts. (Scoot boots will come with her, along with a rain sheet and blanket).... (read more) Other things for her can be purchased separately. She stands good tied and in cross ties. She's great going in a trailer and trailering. Wash racks and water does not affect her, nor does walking in water. I feel she is not a beginners horse as she can be a very fast horse and forward. However she is our go to horse putting beginners or kids on her just to walk around in a round pen or arena environment and very good, respectful and non threatening. She has never done any events or racing as we just trail/pleasure ride. She is best on trails or outside of arenas as not a fan of arena work, but we do exercising in arenas and round pens. She is one that needs her mind to engage. She has ZERO bad habits and no vices. She is very respectful of boundaries, people and fences. As people are looking for the specific horse, I'm looking for a specific owner for Lexi. I will be very picky where this mare goes. The ONLY reason I am selling her is I have gotten older and getting on and off a tall 15.3hh horse has become challenging for me. She also deserves more time than I can give her at this stage of my life. The NEED to know is she would be miserable in a box stall so please don't inquire about her if that's your plan to put her in. I believe she would lose her mind. She has never been in one and don't want her to. Her stalls have been good size always with access to outside paddock area attached and next to others. This mare loves and prefers to be outside more than inside. She also has been with a small herd 5-6 others majority of her life. She is low in the pecking order. She would not do well isolated or alone not with or not being next to others. Lastly her lifestyle for countless years is being turned out all day every day to a lot of acres of grass pastures from morning to approx. 5-6:30pm depending on time of year to graze. I am looking for her to have another great owner and life style she has been use to is what she deserves. Bonney Lake-Lake Tapps. I can send videos upon request.
