9 year old grade Tennessee Walker. 15.3. He has already had his shots this year and is up to date on worming. He has front shoes currently, and we have yet to ride him anywhere that he requires back shoes. We have ridden him on day rides in Indiana and have camped in Ohio with him. He’s got an excellent gait and will lead, follow, or anything in between with no issues. He is an easy keeper, likes baths, stands tied, and trailers well. He gets along well with other horses and is middle in the pecking order.... (read more) He is a great trail horse, the only reason we are selling him is due to him being a bit more horse than is needed for my 70 year old dad who only rides every once in a while. He is spirited and likes to go, but is very manageable, so I would recommend an intermediate rider. We’ve had him on difficult trails, crossing creeks, in fields, and even on the highway, and he is fine. He can be nervous at times, but if you are patient with him and let him know what is going on, he is an excellent horse ready for a rider who is wanting to get out, move, and cover some ground. He does have a brand, it’s possible he could be registered, but we do not have papers on him.
