Gorgeous Safe Draft Cross

Additional Comments

“Kangaroo” is a 4 year old QH/Belgian cross gelding standing right about 15.2 hands high. This guy is as gentle as he looks! He wants to be your best friend. He stands for the farrier, is barefoot and does not require shoes. He stands tied to be groomed, pampered, tacked, stands for mounting and is super easy to catch in a large field and does not require any maintenance.
Roo is more woah than go and prefers to take it easy. He has mostly trail riding miles under his belt and he’s a dream!... (read more) Crosses bridges, streams, ravines, mud etc and is good with all of the wildlife you see out and about. He is ridden around the farm by children old enough to guide by themselves and is lead-lined around with younger children, he is truly a doll baby with not a care in the world. This guy has no spook, buck, bolt, rear or any other nasty habits. Roo has been to a few state parks and is always on his best behavior. He will hack out alone or in a group and is happy to lead, follow or ride in the middle. He has been ridden in an arena once and was no different from on the trails- willing and wants to learn and do everything right. This guy loads and travels great everywhere we’ve taken him. He is turned out majority of the time here but is quiet in a stall when he’s inside.
Under Harness, Roo also drives! He will take you around the farm or down the road and he is traffic safe! This guy stands to be harnessed and is easy to hook to the cart.
Roo is an awesome all around, young, safe gelding!
