a pasture gentle Palomino broodmare and/or 041326 Palomino filly, Splash

As a 2 year old, Ginger suffered a hock injury; with six weeks of therapy, the joint stabilized. She has since been successful as a broodmare, and suitable as a recipient mare or pasture companion. Ginger is pasture gentle, but has not been haltered or handled much since having therapy.
She’s an easy keeper.

Please note: When a mare appears to be in late pregnancy, I pause sales for the mare and foal’s welfare.... (read more) I prefer to wait until she foals and then offer mare-and-foal pairs—or, if you prefer, I can keep the mare open and sell her after the foal is weaned (generally in the fall) with a firm written commitment and a deposit to reserve her. I’m happy to discuss purchase options based on buyer preference and timing....
