General mare and foal Information

All mares are pasture-exposed to live cover.

For the welfare of the mare and foal, sales are paused when a mare is visibly in late pregnancy, generally during late winter or early spring. After foaling, she may be offered as part of a mare-and-foal package.... (read more)

For the safety and well-being of the mare and foal, a minimum waiting period will apply after foaling before transportation may be arranged. The actual release date will depend on the health and readiness of both mare and foal.

If preferred, the mare may be kept open and offered for sale once her foal has been sold, provided there is a firm written commitment and a nonrefundable deposit to reserve her.

Foals are generally offered for sale as weanlings beginning in September. Once a committed buyer is in place, the foal will be weaned, which typically takes approximately two weeks.

Purchase options and timing may be discussed based on the buyer’s preferences. All information is provided in good faith, and buyers are welcome to arrange a pre-purchase examination at their own expense before completing the purchase. All sales are cash only, with payment due in full at the time of sale. Buyers are responsible for arranging transportation. Any deposit used to reserve an animal is nonrefundable and will be applied toward the purchase price.
