(read more) 3 hands tall, and he is as stout and well made as they come with big, solid feet and a strong, correct build. He is sound and ready to go to work.
Flint is very well broke in the arena and rides around with a natural headset at both the trot and the lope. He is soft, responsive, and correct in his movement, making him enjoyable for a variety of riders. He will correctly pivot, side pass with ease, and has been exposed to obstacles such as flags and tarps with confidence.
Outside of the arena, Flint is just as dependable. He rides out well and handles rough and difficult terrain without issue. He has been around dogs, cats, and goats, making him a great fit for a farm or busy environment.
On the ground, Flint is easy to handle and good minded. He stands quietly to be bridled, saddled, brushed, and bathed, and he does well in the cross ties. He is comfortable being kept in a stall or turned out in the pasture and adjusts easily to different setups.
Flint would be best suited for an intermediate youth or smaller adult rider. He has the versatility to be ridden both Western and English and has the ability to excel in either direction.
