Additional Comments

Comet is a 4-year-old, 33.5” (nearly 34”) chestnut and white pinto miniature gelding with a partial blue eye and an irresistibly kind expression. He is the definition of a true babysitter pony — exceptionally safe, steady, and trustworthy for riders and drivers of any level.

For the kids, Comet is as close to perfect as it gets. He will quietly and patiently carry even the smallest riders around the yard, on the trails, or in the arena, taking care of them every step of the way.... (read more) He is the kind you can confidently put your child on while you go about chores, knowing they are safe. His gentle, forgiving nature and dependable mindset make him a rare and invaluable confidence builder.

For adults, Comet is just as enjoyable in harness. He is a reliable, easy-going driving pony who is 100% traffic safe and experienced on both gravel back roads and blacktop. He willingly pulls and has no problem handling larger adult drivers, making him a fun and versatile addition for the whole family.

Comet is excellent to handle on the ground — kind, respectful, and easy in every way. He stands quietly to be clipped, is great for the farrier, and is up to date on dental, vaccines, deworming, and routine care. He is currently barefoot and maintained on a regular 6-week trimming schedule.

He is shedding out his thick winter coat and will soon be a sleek, eye-catching pony to match his already exceptional personality.

If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime, truly safe, family pony that will become your child’s best friend while still being enjoyable for adults, Comet is that pony.
