Calliope is a sorrel yearling (to long yearling, her foal date is unknown since she is grade) filly standing roughly 13.3-14.0 at the wither. Her breeding is unknown, but she almost looks like she wants to be a halflinger cross. She comes wearing a halter, as more work is needed to deem her “halter broke.”
She is sweet and curious and will not turn a cookie down. Her feet look pretty solid and I think she’ll make someone a great little cheap project horse!... (read more) I will be starting on actual halter breaking this week. Up to date on coggins, temperament is at a 6 on this scale solely because she’s not trained, but she has a sweet demeanor and calms down quickly.
Currently eating 2 flakes alfalfa and 1 flake coastal mix twice daily to help her gain weight.
