Steven is a 7 year old gelding , mini size with pony looks. Apx 32”,
Said to be a mini/draft cross, He is generally easy to catch in the pasture. I have never witnessed him spook and he seems eager to get into the arena whenever I’ve worked with him. He seems like the sort who is happy with a job. He has had a few riders on his back but will need more training under saddle.

He leads nicely for adults and older kids, but knows he’s stronger than little kids and takes advantage.... (read more) My five year old has led him around with guidance, and with some oversight he began to listen. He is fun to work with on a lead line, will walk, trot, and canter in hand, is very forward and eager tackling obstacles and small jumps. Seems to have some understanding of lunging.

Great prospect for longe line, in hand showing. or driving.

With consistency and firm boundaries, I think he’d be an easy project for somebody with the time.
