Stunning 6-year-old bay Mustang gelding from Swasey HMA, standing about 15 hands. Sound and healthy, with a sport horse build—uphill, athletic, and well-balanced. He’s had extensive ground training. He is easy to halter and lead, groom, lunge with many skills in a round pen though some will need a refresher (yielding front and hind quarters, bending, hands& leg cues, flags, tarps, plastic bags, WTC, lifting and picking out his feet etc.... (read more) ) and out and about on roads. He has worn saddles and had people all around his body—though he has not yet been ridden. Dream is an easy keeper who respects electric fences and lives outside with a run in shelter. He gets along well in a mixed herd. He does best with 24/7 turnout with a buddy. He can be reactive and needs consistent training to make progress. He also has stranger danger and does better with his own person. He is sensitive, curious, and busy minded. He would do well with someone with mustang experience. He would likely gain confidence building a connection to one person but needs a calm and patient handler due to his sensitivity and busy mindedness.
