Honest post — Tango is a solid, hardworking gelding looking for an experienced rider and a job.
Tango was previously used as a working ranch horse. We purchased him seeking a quiet, kid-safe mount, but he has proven to be better suited for a confident rider with experience. He rode quietly for children during the initial test ride; however, after transitioning to a lighter workload and gaining weight, his energy level and responsiveness changed — a common reality in the horse world.... Under Saddle

• Big motor; covers ground with ease

• Excellent in rough country and long trail rides

• Not spooky; willing to go through or over obstacles

• Smooth, floaty gaits at the walk, trot, and lope

Note: When leaving the ranch or hauling out, Tango may test his rider initially. He doesnt buck ir rear, he just jiggs, and stops, and backs up. A confident rider can push him through this behavior, after which he settles in and works all day. This is why he is not recommended for children or beginner riders.
