Bridget is a 12 y/o, 14.3hh AQHA registered mare. Very sweet and excellent ground manners. She is currently sound and is getting back under saddle after years off.

Bridget enjoys light riding, walks about the farm, especially with friends. She is good for beginners and kids to handle on the ground.
Well mannered and conformationally correct.

Her adoption fee reflects mild navicular in one hoof.... (read more) We have years of xrays available for you/your vet to consult she has not progressed, and she is currently sound. She is on a thyroid supplement for weight and insulin control and rocker front shoes, and has had no issues with light riding so far. Rides in arena and on trails. Lovely soft jog. Western.

With management she should continue to be sound and a few maintenance options can even increase her comfort for more demanding under saddle work if needed. Our specialty farrier has done some great work but she is sound barefoot at the walk if that's all you want to do.

Bridget would be great for a youth learning in-hand work, she is registered so can compete in aqha shows doing Showmanship etc. She is very respectful and easy to handle on the ground. Recommend Advanced Beginner rider as she only requires a light touch under saddle and is very sensitive to leg.

Excellent ground manners, stands tied, stands for vet and farrier, up to date on everything.
