Mozzy is very friendly and sweet with a nice disposition.... (read more) He was very easy to start and has a quality foundation under saddle. Mozzy hasn’t offered to buck in any capacity, and has had some time off occasionally between rides. He is starting to get exposed to a rope under saddle and is taking it very well! Mozzy is easygoing and wants to be stoppy under saddle, while also having some sensitivity to cues. He’s figuring out leads and lateral work, and is going to make a very nice ranch, rope, or trail horse. His asking will increase as I continue to spend time with him.

Mozzy was bred by Gene and Jan Hetletved out of North Dakota. He is by Awesome Roany and out of Copper Jax Lady, a daughter of Rolling Jax Copper. I started Mozzy’s 2022 full sister under saddle and she was very gentle and sweet to be around. I’ve ridden several half and three-quarter siblings as do-it-all ranch horses, and stand a three-quarter brother as my stallion, Riggs. These are working bloodlines that I believe in!

Mozzy sells freeze-branded Lazy K M Over Bar on his left shoulder, and hot branded L Over Lazy H on his right hip. He is good to catch, trim, and trailer. He’s up to date on worming and trimming. Vet checks welcome at buyer’s expense. Buyer responsible for shipping, and Coggins and Health paperwork if outside of the state of Montana.
