Additional Comments

This is "BUTTERCUP", a real handy, fun, gentle, professionally trained GOLDEN BUCKSKIN QUARTER HORSE MARE that is a great all around horse. This mare stands 15.1 hands tall and is 12 years old. She has been used to gather stock, check cattle, check fences, trail ride, and she has been to the open shows. This mare is well trained with a nice one hand neck rein. She stops on whoa, backs up, moves off of leg cues, and has a nice turnaround.... (read more) She will sort, pen, and push cattle all day long. She lopes off quietly and any level rider can tack her, hop on, and go for a ride. Tack her and cinch her tight on the coldest day of the year and she will ride off quiet in new surroundings. She is a seasoned and experienced mare that doesn't mind dogs trailing her heels, she is traffic safe, not spooky, and not nervous. She can handle the ice, the mud, the snow, and the rocky terrain. She's sure footed, won't go any faster than asked, and she doesn't take advantage of novice or timid riders. She's the kind of horse that makes going riding enjoyable, fun, and safe.
