Colonels Sparked Doc “Rusty” is a 2023 AQHA sorrel Gelding standing 15.1hh. If your looking for good breeding and talent, this gelding is it! He is athletic, smart, and easy to work with. He's sired by Don't Stop Shootin-NRHA, earning son of Colonel Smoking Gun x out of the great mare Chelsea Lena, PE of $260,000. He's out of a daughter of Shake Shiver N Shine, who ?... (read more) is a son of Shining Spark, earning 217.5 AQHA Open Performance Points. Shake Shiver N Shine earned AQHA Performance ROM and was an AQHA World Qualifier in senior heeling, tie down roping, and junior team roping. Rusty could really go any direction and could make an excellent ranch rider, reiner, cow horse, rope, barrel, or ranch horse. He W/J/L both directions with nice extensions for all the gaits, backs, sidepasses, two tracks, gives in the face, and has been started on spins, stops, and turnarounds. Hes been used in and out of the arena and hauled out to different places. Rusty has been used out in the fields and does great moving the cows and other livestock around.
