The sire, President, is a prolific sire of international stars, consistently ranked among the Top 100 WBFSH Jumping Sires. He’s known for passing on the massive scope and talent of his sire, Clinton, but with the superior rideability and technique of his damsire, Voltaire. All of the Clinton talent, without the difficulty he is sometimes known to pass. President is also known to pass his balance and stylish, modern type.

President has sired more than 25 CSI, CSIO, and World Cup winners, with notable offspring including:

The dam, Bella Rose, possesses many of the same qualities as the sire. Registered with Westfalen Verband Mare Book 1, she received a premium rating at her inspection and was named site champion. She is correct in her conformation, has a long ground covering stride, and is a highly motivated and easy to work with horse. Full-bodied and with enough bone to be substantial without being heavy, she brings immense power to her gaits and jumping by Barleone (Barnaul x Corleone), whose pedigree includes Cor de la Bryere and the legendary eventing stallion Barnaul. On her damside, she is American racing royalty; her damsire is Monarchos xx, one of the fastest thoroughbred stallions ever to finish the Kentucky Derby, only a fraction of a second slower than Secretariat. The same engine was passed along to his granddaughter, as evidenced by her stamina, gallop, and explosive power over fences.

Currently beginning her competitive career with a focus on show jumping, Bella Rose shows elegance and aptitude in all disciplines: easy, soft “bouncy ball” collection, a powerful gallop, stamina, and bravery for eventing, and an extremely powerful jump with plenty of scope.
