Tango is a 15.2 hh liver chestnut, lightly roaned, grade Quarter Horse gelding with a quiet, steady mind and a kind, willing attitude. He’s the same horse every time you saddle him honest, dependable, and easy to enjoy, with no drama or surprises.

On the ground, Tango is a complete gentleman. He has excellent manners in his stall and out in the field with absolutely no bad habits. He is easy to catch, respectful to handle, and a pleasure to have around the barn.... (read more) He stands tied, loads and hauls quietly, bathes, and is great for both the farrier and vet.

Under saddle, Tango is smooth, willing, and very broke. He rides well in the arena, walks trots and canters comfortably on both leads, and lopes pretty, balanced circles on a loose rein. He neck reins, soft in the bridle, and responsive without being pushy. He’s more whoa than go, making him forgiving and confidence-building for his rider. But will go when asked. Having been used to push, sort, and doctor cattle. He stays calm in the herd, reads a cow well, and handles pressure with confidence.

Out on the trail is where Tango truly shines. He is extremely dependable and will go anywhere you point him. He confidently crosses creeks, navigates hills both uphill and downhill, and handles obstacles with ease. He’s sure footed, calm, and unfazed by new environments. He rides out alone or in a group and remains quiet and gentle at all times, making him an outstanding trail horse.
