This is "SASSAFRAS", a real FLASHY, FUN, FAMILY FRIENDLY, LOUD COLORED BLACK AND WHITE TOVERO MARE that anyone can ride. This mare has been ridden by youth and novice riders with no issues. She is patient, kind, forgiving, and extra safe. This mare has a nice easy to sit gait, she will canter when asked, and walks out nicely on a loose rein. She is 15.1 hands tall and 14 years old. She has been there and done that. This mare has been in the country pleasure classes, been through the cross country trail rides, and has been in the pastures to check cattle.... (read more) She rides nicely in the arena, catches her leads, and stops easily on whoa. This mare doesn't care if you ride her double or bareback. She will pack saddlebags and pony another horse. She is the kind the kids can get out, tack up, and ride around in the yard with no problems. She stands to mount from either side, has excellent ground manners, loads, hauls, and bathes quietly. She is a joy to have around as quiet and gentle as she is. Kids can brush her legs, pick her feet up, and get on and off as many times as they want and she will stand patiently. She is traffic safe, fine with dogs, and fine with equipment. She is solid and seasoned on the trails, will cross deep water, and go anywhere you point her.
