This is "WOODFORD RESERVE", a real fancy, super gentle, family and beginner friendly GOLDEN PALOMINO GELDING that is one smooth operator. He is extra easy to get along with and does whatever is asked of him. He doesn't take advantage of novice or timid riders. He stands 15 hands tall and is 8 years old. He has been used for all aspects of ranching, he trail rides, has been in the arena, he works cattle nicely, and been to the sortings and pennings.... (read more) He has been team roped off of on the head side and has roped cattle in the pasture. He has a very nice handle, he will sit down and turn around, stop easily, back up, move off of leg cues, and he will lope a nice circle without the confines of an arena. He is honest, pure, and civilized. He gets along well with other horses, rides out alone, stands tied, bathes, hauls, and loads with no fuss what so ever. This gelding rides on a loose rein relaxed. He has a collected canter, a comfy jog, and an all around nice way of traveling. He is smart, likes people, enjoys going riding, and has a pleasant personality. He is a very cool horse with ride, color, build, ability, agility, and sense. He will cross any depth of water without hesitation, he is traffic safe, fine with dogs, and not spooky. He is a great horse for the whole family, he is gentle for the kids yet broke enough to go out and get a real job done. He will adjust his speed to his riders style.
