“Ara” is an 11yr old Belgian/Clyde cross mare standing a perfect 16.3 hands high. This lady has all of the right markings, a sturdy build, athleticism, and a friendly personality.
In the barn, Ara stands tied, stands to be groomed, tacked and pampered. She will stand in a stall but prefers to be out and will paw sometimes. She has great ground manners and respects your space. Under saddle, Ara will stand by the block for mounting and dismounting. She has three rocking horse gaits followed by a simple stop. This lady is more athletic and responsive than most drafts and is best suited for a confident beginner working with a trainer and up. Ara is a trail horse deluxe! She will cross up, down, over, through anything you ask her to. She will gladly pop over fallen trees/branches and never fusses. She is great with her feet and knows where they’re at. This is such a fun all-around horse to have around. She’d be super fun to take out fox hunting!
