Here’s something really different meet Francisco a registered 14 year old, 14 hand Chincoteague pony gelding. There’s a first time for everything and here is mine because I have never owned a Chincoteague. I did go to the island as a kid but never bought one. This guy is super cute and cool as can be. Who doesn’t want to own their own real life Misty? This pony is built right, has an adorable head and color in all the right places.... (read more) On top of all that he really rides around. Francisco rides around like a big horse. Neck reins, direct reins, jogs, trots and has a super cute short comfortable lope. Has a lot of arena miles and is absolutely push button. He’s also a super cute mover. Not strong mouthed and has good breaks. It has been a very long time since I’ve seen a pony ride around this well and so much like a big horse. He rides English and western. Jumps, likes to jump and jumps super cute. He’s a point and shoot. Excellent on the trails and goes wherever you want to go without a care in this world. Has his ears up and is happy to go wherever you point him with zero hesitation. This pony is an asset to any lesson program and is everything a barn looks for. He has that perfect canter for teaching newbies to canter. Rides with more whoa than go but isn’t dead sided or stubborn. When you ask him to do something he does it without a pony attitude. Great ground manners and a very sweet in your pocket personality. This pony has had a great home and good life. He loves people, loves attention and is extremely personable. Barefoot with nice big feet and he is 110% sound with no confirmation flaws or maintenance done or needed. Stays fat on air and is the easiest keeper. We are working on many more videos of this pony.
