Wizard is hands down one of our all-time favorite horses, and for good reason. This 15-hand, full-made AQHA gelding is the picture of class with his smooth rabicano coloring, soft kind eye, and that “big brother” personality everyone dreams of.... (read more) Reliable, safe, gentle, and endlessly loving, Wizard is the kind of horse you can trust with the whole family. He craves attention, thrives on people, and has been one of the most cherished members of our barn. Not only has Wizard proven himself as a phenomenal athlete with $19,900 in NRHA earnings, he has also been a teacher. Our 8-year-old daughter, Saylor, has both ridden him English and shown him in the reining and ranch classes, where Wizard patiently guided her every step. He has taught her so much—always honest, always kind, always willing to give his best. For youth, non-pro, or anyone who wants a reliable and accomplished partner, Wizard fits the bill perfectly.
In the pen, Wizard is breathtaking. He’s a big, strong stopper, with crisp spins, flawless lead changes, perfect easy circles, and a stylish low-profile extended trot that floats across the ground. His transitions are smooth and effortless, and his consistency gives riders the confidence to shine every single ride. The avenues with Wizard are truly limitless—show, ranch, trail, or simply enjoy his company at home. Wizard’s quality is no surprise when you look at his pedigree. He is sired by ELECTRIC CODE, NRHA earner of over $200,000, and out of a mare that has produced more than $40,000 herself. With a lineage like this, Wizard doesn’t just carry talent—he carries generations of proven performance.
Beyond the show arena, Wizard is equally remarkable. With a heart as big as Texas, he’s been used across Texas and New Mexico, gathering, branding, and shipping cattle. He’s steady in rough country, sure-footed through rocky terrain, confident across water, and careful down steep inclines. Whether it’s a crisp fall morning or a spring branding, Wizard is the horse you want beneath you—dependable and true every time. At home, he’s the kind of horse that makes memories. Trained to curbside mount, he’s been ridden bareback, bridleless, double, even triple by our little ones, who adore him. He takes everything in stride, happy to be part of every adventure. Wizard isn’t just a horse—he’s a once-in-a-lifetime partner. A proven show horse, a trusted ranch mount, and a family treasure all in one extraordinary package. Please call us at 806 282 7093 for any questions about this amazing gelding.
