Gorgeous Blue Eyed Draft X

Additional Comments

“Scooter” is a coming 2yr old draftX colt with two striking blue eyes. Scooter should mature right around 15.2hh. Scooter is an athletic type with nice floaty movement around the field. He’s easy to catch, stands in a stall, stands tied, and gets along great with others- he does still clack with new horses.
This guy has been awesome to have around. He would make an awesome cross country/all-around guy. We’ve had him for about 6 months now, he’s put on a ton of weight.... (read more) He’s personable. Loves attention. And a quick learner. He loves just about anything you give him. He can be shy with new people but warms up super quick, especially if you pet him or have a snack.
We’ve introduce him to a small saddle, he’s more interested in wanting scratches than worried about the saddle. He’ll be really simple to bring along when he’s ready. I feel as if he’s the “born broke” type by the way he has always taken everything in stride. He’s a typical yearling with typical yearling tendencies and can be a little stubborn sometimes but is never nasty, just plants his feet and doesn’t want to walk forward sometimes. A quick spin around will get his legs working again. He can be jumpy with bright grocery store type bags, I have no clue the difference between putting an empty bag of pro force fuel on a stick and putting a small yellow food lion bag on the stick but the feed bag draws him in and the food lion bad pushes him away.
