Byr is an exceptional horse in every way. He is so calm and reliable that he was picked to be in a movie for various tasks that horses usually can’t handle well.
Byr was a pro and loved by the movie crew. He has an exceptional temperament very confident and calm with smooth gaits. Byr is a dream horse and one of a kind in temperament and experiences he has had. He is also full brother to one if Iceland’s most famous stallions, Arion frá eystra froðholti. Byr has really quality gaits. Byr is a dream horse for trails and/or light show.

Solheimar (The Home of the Sun) is an Icelandic horse farm in Tunbridge, Vermont. Our horses enjoy the beautiful rolling hills in the Green Mountains. The trails from the farm offer spectacular views and great variety of forest and mountain scenery. Solheimar is an Icelandic Horse breeding farm offering excellent trail and top competition horses for sale. Our other services include lessons (in our indoor arena, on our oval track, and trails), clinics, farrier services, training, consulting services, and tack sales.
