Meet Luvbug, This stop-you-in-your-tracks gorgeous Quarter Horse mare is absolutely breathtaking, with all the chrome you could want.... (read more) Her rich dun coloring, flashy white markings, and soft blue eyes give her the kind of presence that makes people stop and stare.
4 years old, and stands 15hh. She has the look everyone dreams of, paired with the perfect solid yet feminine build that will make her stand out anywhere you take her. Classy as they come, and rides around just as fancy!
Beyond her beauty, Luvbug truly lives up to her name. She is one of the most affectionate, people-oriented horses you’ll meet. She is “in your pocket,” loves attention, and thrives on connection with her person. She soaks up every touch and pat, and with her sweet, willing personality, she will quickly become your best friend and trusted partner. So much personality in this gal, she will make you laugh and win you over in an instant. She has been a barn favorite, and we know you’ll fall in love just as quickly as we have!
Luvbug is also safe, FUN to ride, dependable, and loaded with natural ability. She’s soft, responsive, and rides off your seat and legs with ease. She picks up her leads, has a beautiful big stop, and is naturally athletic. Whether you’re looking for a prospect to take to the show pen, a handy partner for the ranch, or a beautiful and trustworthy trail horse, she has the ability to go any direction you choose. I think she would excel in Ranch Versatility as well, or even English! She floats over jumps, and seems to really enjoy it. What a cute mover she is. She is one of those kinds of horses that are so enjoyable to watch no matter what you are doing.
She’s been exposed to a wide variety of situations and always handles herself with grace and confidence. She was even part of the opening flag ceremony at the Hopkinsville Rodeo, where she carried a flag through all the lights, noise, and commotion without batting an eye. She has also been overnight camping and trail riding at Buffalo River, covering some extremely difficult trails where she kept her cool crossing the river, carefully stepping down steep and slippery mud banks, knobby tree roots and slick rocks. Even thick brush doesn’t pose to be a problem for Luvbug. She makes it look easy. It’s hard to believe she is a youngster, as she carries herself like a seasoned veteran. She is level headed, safe, and always tries her best to please her rider.
Luvbug has her whole future ahead of her and all the right qualities to become someone’s once in a lifetime mare. With her looks, temperament, and talent, she is the total package!!
Luvbug has had a recent PPE by Todd Co Animal Clinic- Equine Vet. She is sound, and requires no maintenance. The only thing to note is a small raised spot just above her left knee, which we had X-rayed just to be thorough.
It isn’t noticeable even if you are looking for it, and our vet considers it a non-issue. If she were to go into a high-level performance career, she may eventually need a routine injection there later in life, but as a trail or ranch horse it is unlikely she would ever need any maintenance at all.
We would love to welcome you out to meet her in person at our home in Middle TN. Shipping nationwide is available and we are happy to help with arrangements!
