QCC Jake “Jake” is a 4 yr old blue roan gelding standing at 15.1hh. Jake has a sweet puppy dog personality. He absolutely adores attention and being loved on. He has been in a parade, on big local trail rides with 300+ riders. He has been rode by novice riders and is a great all around horse for everyone! He stands nicely for tacking up, grooming, and for getting bathes. He picks his feet up good for the farrier. He’s the go to type of horse for anything.... (read more) He’s always up for an adventure and handles new stuff so well. We have ponied other horses off of him. He can be rode bareback, western, and bridless! He rides great in the arena, he will pick up both leads, stops, and back up with no issues. He is collected and soft. He will also ride out on a loose rein. He walk, trot, canter is smooth and beautiful to ride. He is always the same horse even with time off. He has never bucked or bolted. Jake rides out on the trails alone or in a group. He is confident crossing the creeks and surefooted going the hills. He is quiet out on the trails alone and rides out on the road with no problems!
