Meet Kobe, a 5 year old registered Friesian Sport Horse gelding standing at 14.3 hh. He is the perfect horse for moving up the levels in eventing, CDE, dressage, jumpers, or simply enjoying time out on the trails!... (read more) Kobe has the talent and versatility to go in almost any direction.
He drives beautifully, both in a pair and as a single. He is uncomplicated in the bridle, stands quietly to hook, walks off nicely, and works wonderfully at the walk, trot, and canter in the carriage.
Under saddle, he is just as reliable. Whether you ride him every day, once a week, or once a month, he’s never cold backed, cinchy, or difficult. You can hop on and ride straight out of the barn without lunging. He’s truly a point and go type of horse.
Kobe learns quickly, show him something once, and he’s got it! He is very willing, eager to learn, and above all, wants to be your partner. He has plenty of go, yet is safe and steady enough for anyone to ride or drive, making him a trustworthy choice for both beginners and experienced horsemen.
This summer, Kobe competed in numerous dressage and jumping shows, most recently at the Tryon International Equestrian Center, where he won the Prelim Single Horse Class, winning 2 out of 3 phases.
If you’re searching for the ideal size horse, one that won’t intimidate riders in the dressage arena, will shine in combined driving or pleasure shows, and still make an incredible trail partner Kobe is the one for you.
