This gelding is sure is something to look at. Picture perfect confirmation, a big hip, nice feet and cute headed. Meet Secret a 7 year old, 15.1 hand bay with few spots Appaloosa gelding. He is a true 15.1 hands and has to weigh a good 1300 to 1350 so this gelding takes up a lot of leg and can carry larger riders with no issue at all. Absolutely push button and has more training and buttons than most. He’s a turn key show Horse and has been shown ranch pleasure, western pleasure, shownmanship and HUS. He can go right back to the show ring tomorrow or he can be your backyard buddy that all your friends will be jealous of. We have owned a lot of horses over the years and have sold many great geldings but this is one that really stands out and one you’ll just never forget. He’s the kind of horse where if you’re having a bad day you can go saddle him up or ride him bareback, swing your leg over and just forget about all your worries. I am 100% convinced if you don’t like him and you ride him you either don’t know a good horse when you see one or ride one or you just don’t like horses. It’s that easy. An Appaloosa can be your least favorite breed and i promise you this horse will change your mind. Are they all like him, absolutely not and most aren’t but he’s an exception and in a league of his own. I know if i could find 20 or even 10 or even 5 like him my job would be a whole lot easier but this is the kind you just don’t find anymore. Secret is the kind you can toss anyone up on and he will pack them around. I don’t care If you’re a child, an older rider, have a disability or have never ridden a horse, he’s the kind you can ride and not have a worry. The best part is he’ll also make it look like you know what you’re doing because he’s just so easy. If you want one that needs miles, needs training and you have to work to ride this isn’t the horse for you. If you’re looking for that “forever” horse that you can just ride, enjoy, smile and maybe drink a beer on or with he’s the one. His gaits are smooth as silk, he never raises his head above the saddle horn and you can ride him on the buckle, with no hands or with no bridle. Lopes off from a stand still with a true rocking horse lope and will catch his lead every single time. Has that slow, smooth jog that you can sit to all day long and never get tired of. Stands at the mounting block like a statue and will not move until asked. He’s as patient as a saint and takes a joke. Never gets mad and doesn’t take things to heart. You can make mistakes and he’s just going to go around the arena like he’s half horse, half robot. Nice soft mouth, has a great stop and rides in a snaffle. Secret is quiet, consistent and the same horse every time you swing your leg over him. A true unicorn to say the least and one you can have full trust and confidence. Is he the cheapest horse out there, far from it but he is possibly one of the safest and if you ask me that’s worth everything.
