PRICE DROP! Straight to Glory, aka Finn, is a 2021 OTTB gelding standing at 16.1 hands. Calm, smart, and gentle, three words I never thought I would use to describe a young TB. This sweet boy has all the class that a "war horse" brings. Not only with his tall, dark, & handsome looks, but with his cool, calm, & collected brain. Finn was imported from Ireland. He came to the U.S. when he was a year old to begin his race training in Florida; his trainer was Westley Ward. Finn was retired with no published works, simply due to a lack of speed. Finn is up to date on shots and Coggins. He is currently turned out 24/7 in a mixed herd, but he can also be stalled with no vices.
He is a quiet ride in and out of the arena. Finn is a beautiful mover and will w/t/c and pick up both leads. He gets his changes and is LIGHTLY started on jumping. No buck/bolt/rear/bite.
The reason I am selling Finn is that he doesn’t seem to have the heart for jumping; he has done some low cross rails, and he goes over willingly but has trouble keeping his balance and lacks the confidence to go higher. I do believe that with proper training and time, Finn could be a successful jumper, but I simply do not have the time.

Finn is used to and not reactive to dogs, chickens, trucks, tractors, loud noises, etc.
Finn would make an absolutely lovely dressage prospect; he has all the proper ground and saddle foundation, and he has done all the correct lateral work. Finn is very easy to collect at the w/t/c and extend. You think it, and he does it, no spurs required!
Everyone who meets this guy immediately falls in love with him; he has such a special charm about him! Come and see for yourself that all potential buyers are welcome to come and meet and ride Finn.
Finn came to us with a front left suspensory ligament fracture. He is fully healed and sound. Did I mention he’s being ridden 3-4 times a week barefoot!! But shoes are recommended for a performance career. Finn is a fairly easy keeper; he stays fit on good grass and hay.
