Boon is a yearling sorrel/possibly gray gelding. He has a great cow horse pedigree with Doc’s Hickory, Doc Bar, Doc Olena, Fishers Bert, and Peptoboonsmall all on his papers. We ride his mom on the farm doing ranch work, gathering cattle and trail riding. She is very fun to ride and has a lot of feel to her and is very light in the bridle and moves off the slightest leg pressure. His sire is a finished reining horse but was never shown due to breeding.... (read more) His pedigree with the older bloodlines really close up on papers are hard to find. His conformation is impeccable,he has the best conformation of all the colts we raised this year. He will be able to handle any job asked of him. He comes up to you in pasture and easy to catch. You won’t find a better performance AQHA prospect anywhere. He will be that go to horse that won’t be for sale once he’s trained.
