Arthur is a striking jet-black Friesian/Quarter Horse cross gelding who stands at a handy 14.3 hands. He captures the elegant presence of the Friesian while offering the steady, versatile temperament of the Quarter Horse—bringing you the best of both worlds. Stocky and well-boned, Arthur easily carries riders of all sizes, all without needing a step ladder to mount.

Arthur has show experience at open and schooling shows, enjoys jumping, and is a blast to ride cross-country. He would also make an excellent foxhunting prospect. For western riders, he neck reins, side passes, and shines in trail obstacle courses. On the trail, Arthur is confident, seasoned, and sure-footed—happy to go alone or in groups, crossing anything you point him at, and with the stamina to stay with you all day. He’s also camped overnight tied to hitch rails many times with ease.

Arthur is quiet, dependable, and safe for riders of all ages and experience levels. He’s been ridden and driven through towns, traffic, and countless parades—remaining calm even next to sirens and fire trucks. He’s a well-traveled partner who steps off the trailer at events, shows, rodeos, clinics, or trail rides as though he’s right at home.
