Meet Sugar Boon Maverick, a 6-year-old Registered AQHA gelding standing 14.3hh. Dark seal brown/liver chestnut with chrome for days, this flashy little guy has the look, the breeding, and the brains. Check out his papers for a lineup of big names. Mr. Maverick is an overthinker with big opinions when pushed past his comfort zone, so he’s best suited for a patient, fearless owner ready to bring out his lofty potential.

The Project Facts:
Maverick is a project and priced accordingly. He is inconsistently touchy to tack up, and if he's having a bad day, he will express himself vigorously. He needs a confident, soft-handed rider who can invest the time to build his trust and confidence. He’s currently only ridden about once every 3 weeks, and he’s made it clear that he is the type that needs regular work and wet saddle pads to thrive. He also has locking stifles in both legs — he’s had surgery, has zero limitations, and requires no maintenance, but a job with lots of backing up isn’t for him.
