This is "CLEOPATRA", a super versatile, very well broke, fun to ride SORREL KENTUCKY MOUNTAIN MARE that has been used for ranching, trail riding, and showing. This mare has a super nice one hand neck rein, a solid stop, and she backs up nicely. She has been used to check cattle, sort pairs, and gather on large tracts of land. She has tons of heart and stamina and can go all day long without tiring out. She can also carry a heavy rider all day long.... (read more) She is 12 years old and stands 15 hands tall. She is naturally gaited and will gait without any special type of shoe or bit. She rides in just a halter and lead rope, she rides in a bosal, and she will ride in any type of bit. She has been hauled to the shows, shown in country pleasure and this mare also runs the barrels. She is a solid trail horse that anyone can ride. She will cross water willingly, go anywhere you point her, and she will walk out nicely. This mare is so much fun to ride with a really cool way of traveling. If you have a job to get done or want to get there in a timely manner, don't miss out on this nice mare. She is VERY BROKE, seasoned, smart, and has lots of ride and style. She has excellent ground manners, is traffic safe, and rides out alone or in a group. She loads, bathes, hauls, and stands tied with no fuss.
