Butters is a darling and stout dunalino grade gypsy cob cross standing at a thick 14.1 hh, approx 7 years old. He’s small enough to be a kids mount, but sturdy and built well enough to carry your husband. (I am 5’8” 145 with a 45 lb saddle in the photo for reference) Butters is broke to ride and pack, and has been started to drive. He loads, bathes, ties and has never set back. Butters has miles and miles of trail experience and goes English and western.... (read more) Butters has a smooth jog and lope, and has been started over crossrails. He is barefoot and as sound as the day is long, even on our rough rocky terrain. He is extremely sure footed and handles some steep, rough terrain with ease. Butters tolerates the most obnoxious of behaviors from other horses (ie, my mare) with grace and maturity. Butters is happy to pony other horses, and ponies/packs like an absolute pro. He requires zero special maintenance, poops in a perfect pile, gets fat on air and is what I describe to people as non problematic. Butters would do best with an intermediate rider or up, but would work for a novice in a full time program. He will make someone an outstanding adventure buddy.
