Kevin is a sweet 8 year old gelding that is ready to be your new trail buddy. He spooks at virtually NOTHING (loose dogs, loud cars/truck whizzing by, screaming guinea fowls, etc) this is the horse you want to ride confidently wherever your trail takes you. He has been ridden on the road alone or in a group, does fine either way. He would NOT be suitable for anyone looking to jump him, do lots of tight circles, or dressage as he does have an old (but healed) knee injury from his racing days (only a handful of races then used as a flatwork lesson horse) which limits his ability to do high impact work.... (read more) He is happiest being a trail horse or ridden in a big arena (not a round pen!). Stands, loads, ties, ground ties, drinks from the hose, loves to be groomed, able to adapt quickly to new situations, riders, etc. He is VERY forgiving of beginners and best suited for a confident beginner or trail rider. He is the same horse whether he is ridden once a week or once a month. Respectful of fencing, both electric and wood, no meds, barefoot, UTD on cogging, vaccines and trim and EASY to catch & loves ppl and attention. 2500 negotiable to the right home. Must have references as he is safe, very SANE horse that deserves to be treated with love as he came to us VERY thin. He is putting on weight nicely with no issues and has had 2 weeks of professional training. Good, strong, tall - perfect horse for your husband, boyfriend, tall riders, etc. Rides English or Western, soft mouth - currently using a D ring snaffle.
