Broke to ride and most likely drive

She is just a pasture pet at our house, so she hasn't been riden other than ponying kids around on occasion. She can be difficult to catch and isn't very familiar with fly spray, but we are working on it.

(read more) Two owners ago was a 7 y/o girl who painted her feet with sparkles and loved on her and rode her a lot. The previous owner did not have her long, but would have her toddler around her as well. Never any bite or kick. Due to a slip in the pasture in Oct 2024, she sustained a ligament injury around her back left pastern. After multiple x rays and stall rest, she was released for light work to build back her strength. I brought her home a few months ago. I have a few toddlers of my own and thought she would make a fun kids horse. We have spent weeks spoiling her with love and giving her all of the rest that her leg needs. Over the months she has gone from a small limp to almost nothing noticeable in her walk, trot, or canter. She does have some scar tissue buildup on it that makes it visually slightly larger than the other. But multiple vets, including ours, have checked her out and cleared her for work. I was given the instructions to start working her back up to her full strength again. I have videos of her moving.

She is in an acre of grass and doesn't get fat. She amazingly doesn't over eat. When she's full, she's full.

A potential vice is that she is herdbound. She NEEDS a buddy. That buddy can be a person leading her around, but if she is left alone she starts to panic.
