"Nichols" is an 11 year old Friesian Sporthorse registered with the Friesian Blood Horse Registry, sired by Douwke G (100% Friesian, FBHR-sanctioned stallion) and out of a Zippo Pine Bar-bred Quarter Horse mare, Amos Impressed Me. You get the look, the hair, the presence—and the Quarter Horse brain and usability to match. He is the kind that you could take to a show one day, trail ride the next, and ranch off of the following day.

He rides both English and Western, with smooth, cadenced gaits that feel like floating. He’s been used on a ranch, confidently handles gates, gathers cattle, and works like he’s done it his whole life. On the trail, Nichols is as solid as they come — he’ll pack anyone, anywhere, through water, over logs, and down the road without a blink. If you know Friesians, you know that their size, stature, and curiosity can often be intimidating for beginner riders.
