He’s extremely gentle, user-friendly, and reliable with just the right amount of go. He rides beautifully in the arena with smooth transitions through all gaits, an easy one-handed neck rein. His trot and lope are comfortable and push button. He’ll even ride around bridleless making him suitable for all levels of riders, from total beginners to those who want a confident, fun, and uncomplicated ride.
Out on the trail, Sunny D is just as dependable. He’s been ridden both alone and in a group and is 100% safe, quiet, and sure footed. He crosses water, handles rough terrain, and navigates new environments with zero spook. He’s seen dogs, tractors, traffic, cattle, none of it bothers him.
Sunny D is a breeze to handle on the ground. He stands tied, saddles and bridles quietly, bathes easily, and is good for the farrier and vet. He loads and hauls like a pro and does well in the stall or turned out. He’s currently shod on all four feet and is up to date on deworming and rabies vaccination.
