The boys are offering Bingo for sale.
I made a deal with the kids that they needed to ride consistently for a couple months then decide if they want to keep their pony. They both want to ride casually but are not interested in riding regularly.
That means Bingo needs a new barn.

This guy has never been lame in the 2yrs we've owned him (knock on wood) we put a lot time into him and he's a very neat mover.... (read more) He comes when called out of the field, stands in cross ties and to be bathed. He's ok/meh with having his feet trimmed. He has drastically improved since we first got him but doesn't stand perfect just yet.
Anyone that knows my boys, knows they're not particularly handy and they both have ridden him. He's never offered to buck or rear. But he will wander over to some grass and eat on Rowen if he stops paying attention then he needs help getting his head back up. Gabe at 11yr old doesn't have this issue. I would not call him bomb proof, but traffic does not bother him and he takes most things in stride.
He can be tuned up by a small to medium adult. When I ride him he's got a soft mouth and goes in a smooth snaffle extremely well, and reins very well for Gabe too.
He would be best for an intermediate to experienced child that wants a quick and athletic pony to go any direction in. Or a small adult wanting something that costs next to nothing to up keep. He gets 1lb of Triple Crown lite plus some garlic salt for the flies and stays half in a stall half out on pasture. That's it.
The bad: He can be buddy sour to mares if left in with them 24/7, he'll call out to them and fidget when tied. He needs a half decent fence, a solid rail or two plus a hot wire is perfect but he will duck under one strand of poly tape and not care it's zapping him. He can still be leery of adults sometimes, but generally warms right up to new kids. He's particularly sensitive about his ears being abruptly touched by adults but fine if you run your hand up his neck to his ear. He's a pony ?♀️ I feel like that should convey a lot.
I'll be working on videos of the kids riding him this weekend if it stops storming long enough. Or I might decide to just throw him in the lesson program since I'm already the one caring for him. He's like a little fungus that has grown on my heart the last 2 years.
Asking $5,000 but open to offers and best fit and home is the highest priority.
